Mike had another commitment today. I would still like to go counterclockwise another day.

Big Loop - June 25

After the cancellation of the summer solstice ride are you feeling a need to ride something else silly? If so, you could join Mike Skinner and I on Tuesday for a counter clockwise Big Loop ride. Only one lap. Leaving around six. Back for supper.

Re: Something different in Bendri

Just returned from riding this. Great event and Bend is a super bicycle town. More than 500 miles of each of the following: single track, gravel and pavement. Alpine or ranch land. The event was really well organized by a friendly non profit community group. Three big passenger vans, two pulling a t...

Re: Giro_Sardinia_Sardegna

I am not very interested in the Giro this year because there are a lot of roads I have not ridden in Europe and I have been to Sardegna four times and ridden the roads that are to be used on five of the six stages of the 2019 event, but I am interested in what others are thinking about in relation t...

House for rent

It seems to be that time of year again when daylight hours shorten, lights are needed in the morning and for some people cross racing comes to mind. For others, like me, thoughts turn to riding in the sun in warmer places. If a Tripleshot member or someone a member knows would like to make our next ...

Re: Annual Hurricane Ridge Ride - August 12th

Tickets have been bought and will be distributed by BARTON in the morning. Arriving at the terminal at 5:45 should be about right.

There will be a light hot "brunch" served at the top parking lot so don't be afraid to bring a small appetite as well as big legs.

Re: Annual Hurricane Ridge Ride - August 12th

Great anticipated turn out! Thanks for participating. If you have not already paid through the Tripleshot store, please do so tonight as I will be buying ferry tickets Saturday afternoon based on the number of people who have paid. Barton will be distributing the tickets at the ferry terminal on Sun...

Re: Big Loop Ride July 15th ... details please

Well done and said everyone! While the glow from an epic Tripleshot group ride is still extant it is not too early to mark August 12 on your calendar for the next extraordinary Tripleshot group ride, Hurricane Ridge. BTW, I only ride ahead occasionally because my heart rate likes to accelerate too q...

Paul. My understanding is that the road is closed to cyclists from the information center to the ranger booth on weekdays until the end of summer.

Re: Hurricane Ridge July 1st

I don’t know if you have ridden s. Mt. Angeles road but my recollection from riding it a few years ago is that is quite a nice ride except for the last 30 meters which consists of a short bushwhack to get back up to the regular road. I have not ridden Lake Dawn road but I suspect there is gravel. I ...

Re: Crash on the Sunday ride

Or if a bike lane is desired, turn left onto West Saanich at Brentwood Bay and avoid the Wallace section in discussion. I recall vaguely West Saanich having a bike lane all the way from Brentwood Bay but if I go that way I usually turn left on to Old West Saanich and Sparton before rejoining West Sa...
