Re: Eco Underground parking for bikes

Once the city has fixed Norm's sewers, I hope they'll consider some of these mind-blowing cycling infrastructure projects

Re: Wanted: 56cm road frame

I have realized that it is simply too big for me. I need something smaller. I would trade it for something smaller--a...

Why didn't you tell me Jill's away and we are now allowed to recycle the best gifs from the past?
I like how Johnny makes his appearance in this one...

Mashby, I'm interested and would hope to keep you company but that makes for too long a ride for this hombre on a Wednesday morning.
If I were to accompany you, I'd be late for work, and probably harshly judged....

Eco Underground parking for bikes

Just when you thought we've approached the outer limits of cycling infrastructure, there's New Age bike parking. What do you folks think of something like this for Victoria, an automated, seismically-sound underground bike parking facility? We are discussing this at the next City of Victoria Active ...

Re: Friday, June 7 - (Pearl) Jam to UVic

Eddie Vedder's joining us on a cross ride? Hmm. That's too bad because since you are shamelessly name dropping, on lunch today I ran into Rick Nielson of Cheap Trick in Murchies. Since he was probably the rockingest guitarist from the late 70's I asked him if he'd like to ride with us on Friday and ...

Mashy, I will come and keep you company seeing as everyone who normally rides cross in this group has used up all the potentially lame excuses.... I don't care where we go, as long as it involves excitement, getting dirty, and eventually coffee. https://media.giphy.com/media/ys8zByv0Muaxa/giphy.gif

We won!
It was a tough race, lots of hills, mercilessly dropping the slowest rider (me) as we approached the finish.
Well worthwhile.

I am interested. Let's try to have a practice this coming Thursday with our team.
Do we have a team name? I like to think of musical names, Maybe "Joe's Garage", that classic by Frank Zappa.

I'll meet you guys in Ganges, but I'll be coming from the north, from Foetus Island via Chemainus, Crofton and Vesuvius. So for me, It'll be a four ferries ride, one more ferry than you three ferry dudes. Unless some of you want to ride early, and meet me in Chemainus, then we can backtrack together...
