Re: Friday Cross

Actually, don't expect us in the morning. Given our timing to get home to get kids up and the distance we'll likely be from home as the ride heads south, we'll ride up here in far away GH/CB.

Will miss all you guys! :(

I am going to try and come out too but can only do a local CX ride. Can I meet you guys enroute or do I need to make it down to the church?

Re: Nov 3rd - Terra Nova: TSCX Strikes Back!

Having had to last minute bail on the last time this route was attempted I am seriously considering......let's see - 5 hr epic adventure ride or 45 minutes of pain in the mud or sitting at my desk and reducing my accumulated mountain of report writing..... Bike is currently in the shop, recovering f...

Re: Friday Cross

I'm in too. Love option B since it greatly increases my chances of making coffee but am happy with either. Coffee time isn't a guarantee for me either way depending on morning schedules so I'm happy to go with the majority and turn off when I need to. I hope my bike still works after Sunday's mudapa...

Re: Discussion on group splitting

I agree JT, the Thursday ride was mint. It was flowy,, steady with re-groups a real feel of cohesiveness in the group. If we can achieve this for most weekday rides, I’m happy. I guess the question is can we, with the big groups that have been coming out. Or how can we...

Re: Discussion on group splitting

Just want to say one thing about the speed and splitting issue. If people aren't coming out to CX rides b/c the pace isn't high enough I am completely fine with that. CX rides aren't road rides. It makes absolutely no sense to be bleeding from the eye balls on skinny tires racing through the forest ...

Re: Wanted - Winter Cycling clothing suitable for a 13 year old

Brian, I've probably missed you already but I do have a size small Giordana winter cycling jacket. It is red with black and white stripes on the arms. I think it is a men's small but I'm not sure. It was my winter cycling jacket in my first cycling life in Victoria, years ago. It is windproof and I ...

Re: Tripleshot Cross Fondo Sector 2

Hi Hugh,

I can't help Saturday since it is my daughter's birthday and the day is full but might be able to help with picking up course markers after on Sunday, depending on the timing. Do you know what time you'd need that to be done?

Rolf, we are so lucky to have you documenting our adventures and taking the time to make these cool videos so we can relive them. You picked an awesome song for Day 2!!! According to my daughter this is the "biking butt video."

I just wanna go back.....

Muchos gracias, Mahalo, Merci beaucoup!!!

I plan to be there too, so long as this annoying cold, "Now I'm gone, no wait, I'm not" doesn't insist I need an extra hour or two of sleep.

Re: Tripleshot T-shirt?

I like #3 for the back of the shirt. Think of the good karma spread when you walk around town in that. For those of you who look debonair in black and not washed out like most people (remember soon you'll have your pasty pacific northwest pallor - or I guess pacific southwest pallor when you're Cana...
