Claire, I think Ron is conjuring. I'm a maybe. Hard Maybe. I need to get back and either swap a rear wheel or straighten the current wobbly one.
David: with your abilities, when has wobbly ever stopped you before?

Great, Samantha! See you tomorrow at FF Starbucks at 7:30 am.

If others want to meet us en route, we will be hitting the Switch Bridge around 7:55 am. If you're taking the SB option, try and let me know beforehand so we'll be sure to look out for you.

Monday on Sunday ride

A Sunday on Monday ride has been called, but where is the Sunday ride that it is trying to clone?  It is here. On Sunday October 13 , I intend to start at 7:30 am from Fairfield Starbucks and hit some presumed CrossFondo trails (e.g. Highlands, Hartland, Francis King & Thetis Lake). I would like to ...

Re: Friday, Oct 11 - Cross Penance

Thanks for the ride this morning, Folks. That was would good fun. Now, Ron. I know you love your high-tech Garmin navigation system, but don't be surprised seeing me with a baseball bat on our next ride, http://media.giphy.com/media/iVDo6InQKyW8o/giphy.gif That said, I am a bit old school, http://me...

Re: Friday, Oct 11 - Cross Ride

I'm in. Can we aim for a good workout, say along this five-hills ride (i.e., Tolmie, Cedar, Peacock, Summit, and Beacon)? Take note, that I'm not suggesting we come all the way back on Cook, I just ran out of energy with plot-a-route. We miss you Rolfie, please heal quickly. http://media.giphy.com/m...

Whoa, Cowboy!

It's that negative attitude that's bringing down your health. As I have said before,

With Rolf riding at a human pace it sounds like a great opportunity for me to join at Cedar hill x.

Re: Thanksgiving Sunday ride on a Monday?

Hi Rob, I also have family here on the weekend, and for this reason need to get my ride in on Sunday morning. If you fail to connect with Ron, then I'd suggest Rolf's plot-a-route ride titled "Thetis CX lap". It's reasonably straightforward to navigate, and has some nice downhills.

Alan, last Sunday was great of day of discover, indeed. Any chance of preserving that shroom for Rolf's 45'th?

Re: Tuesday, October 8 - WTF !?$#@

I would say that I would love to join you, but that doesn't sound like any fun at all JT. Mandy and I are planning to head out from the school at 6 if anyone wants to do a trail ride. Geoff, you saved the day. Scrap my Jameson's-induced masochistic route. I'll join you and Mandy, and hopefully othe...

Tuesday, October 8 - WTF !?$#@

I would only recommend you join me tomorrow if holidays have left you out of shape and you don't want to disappoint your teammates at the XFondo two weekends from now. I'm leaving at 5:30 am from Pure Vanilla (Cadboro Bay Rd and Estevan Ave) and returning to Pure Vanilla for coffee at  7:30 am . Hit...

Re: Sunday, October 6: Prelude to a Crossfondo

JT, in case Route Master Rolf is lying low tomorrow, are you thinking a route like this for Sunday? Beard, something like that but clockwise, excluding Partridge Hills, and avoiding construction on West Saanich. We should also be mindful of the other Alan C. who eats road for breakfast but is new t...

Re: Sunday, October 6: Prelude to a Crossfondo

Where do you meet? Room for newbie? :x Of course there's room for a newbie, Alan! That said, you'll probably ride the rest of us into the ground. Let's tentatively plan to meet at Fairfield Starbucks at 7:30 pm. From there we can set the ride. I say "tentative" because once Rolf wakes up from his b...

Sunday, October 6: Prelude to a Crossfondo

Anyone interested is the Highlands. Hartland, Francis King & Thetis Lake areas in order to test our legs in advance of the Crossfondo (three weekends from now)? Rolf took today off with the sniffels. Hopefully he's better by Sunday otherwise I'll be posting this image much more widely ...  http://i....

That's some sublime video footage, Rolf! How you manage to do that and still ride like a screaming mad-man, I do not know.

Bring on Day-2, PLEASE.
