I'd try to find a suitably gross parasitism gif but I've just finished my lunch.
Sorry, John, I didn't hear you. Did you say parasite? Lunch?

Dudettes and Dudes - hate to say it but we are out. The twelve year old's birthday party had to be rescheduled so it takes priority.
I’m sorry to hear that, Geoff. Next time, please buy a keg for your 12-year old and tell her to organize her own goddamn soirée. :D

I’m back on 6 am videoconference duty, but if I’m off early enough I may ride down to Cook Street to get the latest gossip (e.g. how did Rolf really injury his right hand again? (Rock, or overuse?)

Excellent post, Rolf, and I love the map of verboten's. To it, I would like to add my front lawn. Agreed, Alan?

That boy of ours has life pinned down. West Coast idyllic - steaming coffee on his left, guitar on his lap, and rooster on his back. Only flaw in the picture is the evil voyeur sneaking up from behind and breaking the trance.

See youse guys in a week 8).

I've only been away for fours days so far and except for Rolf's unwanted affections, I'm already missing my cyclocross buddies. Have fun tomorrow.

Yes, I've seen that, Alan. I think Garth C. is doing it. Personally, I've burnt many bridges in my life, except perhaps with the Americans. Hence, my availability to watch you and Rolf pillow fight after our Olympic Discovery Trail adventure on the 28th. http://media.giphy.com/media/DUDGjVhBxXYMo/gi...

It looks great. I'm in! Mary Dear Mary, Please, enough with the exclamation points. http://media.giphy.com/media/xTiN0CNHgoRf1Ha7CM/giphy.gif I like to play it cool and disinterested, and then attack our super-hero, Rolf, on the home stretch. Works every time. http://media.giphy.com/media/iYssqHbOc...

Olympic Discovery Trail - September 28-29

I've had a request to (re)announce this ride outside of the Cyclocross Subforum. Going forward, please post here rather than on the Cyclocross Subforum. On Saturday September 28 we will take the 10:45 am ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles and then ride 51 kms to Lake Crescent via this route . The n...

L3, you can rest assured that there will be *no* extramarital, or even extraterrestrial shenanigans on this trip. But, if you happen to witness any please post your high-resolution videos here. Thank you.

Garth Campbell and David Dallin, meet Michael Sigmond

My friend, and frequent scientific collaborator, Michael Sigmond, rode this week from Port Hardy to Victoria. It was done over two days, with the first day in a nearly continual downpour. Congratulations, Michael! Michael lives two blocks from the OBH parking lot, and has come out with TS only once....
