Strava inflation: Why getting a fast time always gets harder

https://www.cyclist.co.uk/in-depth/6541/strava-inflation-why-getting-a-fast-time-always-gets-harder Personally, I really like Strava. Being a former highly competitive (rather than successful) racing cyclist, I can see how and why it's used as a training and competitive outlet tool. Nowadays, Strava...

Re: Capacity training or utility training?

This is article is 'gold', thanks for posting in the forum, Rob.

I think I pretty much live in a world of Capacity Training, and that's okay. Whenever I transition to Utilization Training, my immune system crashes and I become sick, grrrr!!!!!

Re: Metchosin Hillfest #3 SATURDAY

I think I may be sufficiently recovered from pneumonia to join the ride. Is this a no drop and regroup after a hill ride, or a drop ride if you can't handle the pace and the pain? Re: Amstel gold- the race that was lost 6 weeks ago

Here's a link to the final 20 mins of yesterday's Amstel Gold Race, and Mathieu van der Poel's truly remarkable victory. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7695f6 With 7.5km remaining the gap from Alaphilippe and Fuglsang to van der Poel’s group was 55 seconds. With just 1.5km remaining it was still...
