Re: Nov 24th - Along The Tracks

Full disclosure: there is some known hike-a-bike in this route. The northern end of the train tracks requires a short hike to get to goldstream park. other than that, it should be fairly fluid.

Re: Possible Sunday Ride

I think we'll need to leave early for sure. I was hoping we could get away with 7:00am but maybe 60km needs a 6:30am start. Any other opinions?

Nov 24th - Along The Tracks

I've been playing with my mapping toys again and came up with a ride idea. 6:30am start from Fairbucks. Terminating at Plutos. https://www.strava.com/routes/22698651 (UPDATED: I snipped out the Mill Hill diversion) The main idea is to meander out via E&N, Portage Park, walk through Mill Hill, get to...

Glad to see there's some self-censorship going on. Saves uncomfortable conversations about self-deportation.

Re: Sunday, Nov 10 - Cross Places Unknown

Here's a draft route: https://www.strava.com/routes/22582757 Claire, the Hartland Trails are a maze to me and I picked trails just so I could complete the route. You can guide us through there much better I gather. In fact, should we approach from Hartland Avenue instead? This could reduce the overa...

Re: Sunday, Nov 10 - Cross Places Unknown

I'm always down for Hartland. I'll put together a route that gets us there in less of a "commute" fashion. Will post soon.

Fairbucks 7:00am! Lochside trail pick-up 👌 With the rain today and dry weather in the forecast, Sunday looks like an optimal time to get muddy and finish in a nice warm cafe with food and hot coffee!! I'm thinking of a bit of a different route that eventually get's us into Thetis where we can hopefu...
