Re: Sunday C - we're back!

They offer same-day registration before the ride. $25 for either 25km, 64km, or 100km.

Re: Sunday C - we're back!

Can't this week...I'm doing the Russ Hays Ride for Hospice. Signed up for the 100km option, and offered to be a ride leader. They accepted my offer, but relegated me (and Tim Gijzen) to lead the 25km route!

Hi Rolf;

Given that many (most?) club members don't creep on the Forum as much as much and you (and I) do, I wonder whether it might be worth sending a direct email notice to the entire membership to maximize participation in this event?

Re: Ambassadors Ride

Naturally these would all be on officially approved cycling paths, especially if ridden wearing TSC kit. Correct?

By the way, who let John D. onto the Cyclocross sub forum?
Do your homework Alan. Were I to post a chuckleworthy gif response it'd be along the lines of "Luke...I am your father." (And yes Rolf - I know that's not the actual quote from the movie).

You're welcome.

Will they be offering anything on the latest advances in the effective use of gif-related cyclocross tom-foolery and bear-baiting text? I ask, only because the recent level of creativity of the witty repartee on this sub-forum is beginning to wane.

Not cool at all.
Nor was the fact that the group contained 24 people when it passed our C-group, after being specifically told not to form groups larger than about 12.

Re: Big Loop Ride July 28

One suggestion could be that the front group, particularly if they are substantially ahead of the next group, ride unsupported. With water and food available in PR and CL, this could be quite doable. But I'm open to other ideas. And if not before, then we can sort ourselves out in the parking lot b...

Re: Big Loop Ride July 28

With nearly 24 riders signed up, and with a wide range of strengths and abilities, I propose that we plan to ride this event as two groups right from the the start.

Good sensations

This quote from Thibaut Pinot after today's 15th stage triggered something in my memory. "It was my weather, a beautiful stage as I like it. I had to enjoy it! I had good sensations." The word "sensations has quite a history on the TSC Forum. Do a search for the word, and pay particular attention to...

Re: Big Loop - June 25

Just so's we're all clear....this thread is NOT about the official 7th Annual Tripleshot "Big Loop Ride". The club's official version does the Big Loop in a clockwise direction, with at least 1-2 support vehicles that provide food, water, spare tubes, tools, hugs, etc. This year it will run on Sunda...
