First results are in: Sarah's team pursuit team has qualified fifth fastest, and race again shortly to get in the bronze medal final. Riley's team pursuit team set a new Canadian record in qualifying. They rode the second ride without Riley as he had team sprint about the same time. Riley's team spr...

Re: Alen and Isla in Quebe at the Tour de L'Avenir Mackadence

Isla had a strong finish to the 5 stage 4 day race, with a win in the final stage, as a u17 beating everyone, including the u19 women the u17's race alongside. And ended up 10th overall in u17, after going too hard on start of the 5km massed start climbing stage, and blowing up near the summit. Alre...

Another media image at the top of your article featuring three roadies riding abreast—just to stoke the anti-cyclist fervour. I see a possible TS CrossFondo jersey, a Wheelers jersey, and a mystery dude. Alen and Isla in Quebe at the Tour de L'Avenir Mackadence

TS youth team members Alen and Isla are racing in North America's biggest u17 stage race this week. They started well in the first road stage, a rainy, hilly road race over 66 km. Race reports: Alen: “I picked up a few kom points but I didn't full on sprint for them so I think I could pick up more. ...

Isla Walker breaks Sidney tt u17 course record

Isla broke her clubmates record last night. Isla did 26:10, beating the old record of 26:30 by 20 seconds, over 17.4 km. 39.9 kph average speed. Records are made to be broken, but Isla’s success is remarkable for who held the record. Sarah van Dam is probably the most prolific medallist at national ...

We got it done! Big thanks to Daniel, Craig, Todd, and of course Raven and Pazza for support and patrol. Heres’s ts youth parent Craig with a long reach for blackberries, and Todd posing with the water lilies after. Cafe Mosi coffee and snack was almost as good as the swim. D49A07E6-4FD8-4581-9B3E-6...

Got an 8 year old girl who wants to try but only has mtb. Anyone got a 24” road or cross bike with slicks that you’d loan for an hour?

Youth race, 8-11 yrs, VCL Windsor Sunday 8:30

Hi all: I’m trying to get 6-8 kids together to ride at the Vcl tomorrow at 8:30 am. We will be on the course at the same time as the C’s, but separate start. I’ll be coaching in the ride, and the course is beautiful; fully closed, flat, 3 wide corners, 1 bend, perfect for enjoying bunch riding and r...

Saturday July 20 Hector trail maintenance

If you’ve been enjoying the Hector Connector trail, here’s your chance to show it some love. Daniel Cammiade form Nature Trails society was there yesterday and says the blackberries are starting to encroach, and the tread needs some maintenance. So, he, me and Craig Smith so far are heading there at...

Re: TTT at UVic, June 20, 2019

Thanks to Mikael, Peter, Martin, John D and all the members who made the ‘interaction’ positive. Some thoughts in the same vein on ttt etiquette from over the years since we started it: In vcls and ttt, slower teams and riders often can’t hear faster teams and riders passing. At the track the term “...

Let me know if you want to look at the trek. Maybe if you don’t give me any money until I find a cx bike?
