Re: Kit Design Ideas - WE NEED YOU!!!!

I went with a subtle graphic version. This jersey was actually produced by Champion Systems in Australia. Smaller details can be added by more savvy individuals. I was thinking of replacing one of the "ridges" with a light pink or similar accent as a homage to the older kits.

Huge thanks to all who participated and especially to Stéphane for planning, organizing and keeping the group on track. Also a special acknowledgement for dragging my sorry behind up to the mountain and back.

Booked my ticket as well. Preview looks awesome. If anyone wants a less Hollywood version of a huge endurance ride/race, the Indian Pacific Wheel Race documentary is showing (laptop or desktop only) on Youtube for free at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5b9or1 ... e=youtu.be

Are we able to accommodate slower riders? (ie regroup at the top). My fitness is very suspect these days.

Re: Breaking news: Cyclist pinned under van on Munn at Prosp

I just rode up there 2hrs ago. It must have happened right after I went though. Drivers were exceedingly accommodating when passing today, almost in the other lane. Thinking about the rider and their family and hoping for the best.

Re: Why don't bikers have stepney with them?

Hi James, I had to look up an alternative definition, https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/stepney, to understand the reference. Rando and Ultra racers usually carry at least a tire sidewall patch kit, https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5048-270/TB-2-Emergency-Tire-Boot. That combined with a good...

I've been hooked on Bean around the World in China Town. Perhaps its just the carrot cake but it has the right feel for a local coffee shop.

Bucket list ride for sure. What a way to see the wild nature and terrain of a country. 400km of headwinds and rain though in the first day of riding.

Re: Mt. Baker 2017

Stephane, Trying to see if I can make this happen but have a quick question regarding starting at the Tsawwassen side on day one. Are you parking then walking on and taking the ferry over or riding direct from Victoria? Last time I did a Mt Baker return ride we hit the first ferry (6am) by heading o...
