Re: Sunday Cx

SB 750?

Think I'm gonna give it a go. If I'm coughing up my lungs I can turn off early.

I'm a maybe. Can't quite seem to shake a virus so if I think I can survive, I'll probably be there.

Re: Friday CX

We are hopeful but non-committal as well. I'm under the weather and not being in bed yet is not boding well for recovery and G is fixing his brake. Nothing like waiting til the last minute.

Hope to see you guys.

Re: Friday, January 24 - Early Weekday Zip to Viaduct, Francis King & Trillium

These Gordon-headers are going to make it out. I'm bringing my husband so I assume if I become the ride's anchor and hold you back from your pursuit of coffee, he'll drop back with me. We're undecided as to meet up spot at the moment so if we're not at Wonger's Wait, we'll be at the greenway/lochsid...

Ok. Takes me way too far from home to be home at a decent time with no convenient early bail out points so I'm out. Have fun.

Re: May 2 - Ride for Water - Chilliwack

Here's what I've found out so far - The word on the street from my Vancouver connections is grueling, perhaps miserably so. Mostly up or down and some un-rideable ups. Friends of friends on the epic course for 9 hours. You'll love this Ron - an apparent high level of gnar. More concerning is Penny's...

Propane? I am definitely not catching a ride with you. Please share what you find out. We're seriously considering.

Fyi, Penny Davis did this last year. We need to buy her a coffee and chat. (Maybe Scott did it too?)

Re: Wednesday, January 15 - SNOWcross!

Ann, that is awesome. I got 93% and judging from how much has fallen just during my 90 minute walk with the kids and dog I think we might be in luck. Greg says he is absolutely going to ride tmrw but may not make it all the way down to the fabled Fairfield-land. I'm eyeing my cross country skis righ...

Ann, I know it can be super fun but there was also this: [url] https://strava.app.link/6WL3xJw2f3[/url)

Take note - 7k, 40 mins.

But if I could be guaranteed the schools would be closed tmrw, I might make it out.

Ron, is 8 more reasonable? Or 815? Just don't want you guys waiting for us.

As for JT's psyche, Sunday is a day of rest, even for psychologists  No idea what emoji I just added since I don't have my reading glasses on but hope it fits!

Re: Sunday CX - the last ride before the snow?

JT, your route is exactly what I had in mind. I hadn't thought about going up and around Elk Lake was going to just take Pipeline into Beaver and across West Saanich but would be open to it. Geoff, normally I'm all for a peninsula CX ride but that is going to be most of Kip's commute (he's working a...
