Re: Sunday December 1 cross ride??

Aw bummed to miss but I think family/life schedule dictates I'd be better off with a dog ride on the MTB.

Re: Friday Nov 29 Freezing CX

For the record, Ron did not share his facial hair but he did contribute to the feeling of warmth with his typical joviality. So I came home and dipped my numb feet into my hot tub which was at a temp of 115!!!!! Let's just say that lack of feeling and that temp was concerning so when they st...

Friday Nov 29 Freezing CX

I have it on good authority that Ron's beard keeps him warm enough to brave the freezing temps tomorrow morning. I'm without beard so still considering....

I did hear it might be a certain AC's birthday....another birthday cross ride?

Re: Nov 27- Wednesday farmers cross

Sorry I missed it you guys! I was up half the night with a freaked out kid and a power outage and it was the later half so pretty hard to get up when you have just fallen asleep

Re: Nov 27- Wednesday farmers cross

If you wanna ride up to Arbutus Cove/Hollydene right about now you should be good for a low tide. Tmrw morning, not so much. (I think that is the beach you meant?) I will plan to be out but it will be dependent on the health of my household. If sick-ish hubby doesn't get up to get kid 1 to early mor...

Are you guys likely to follow the traditional farmcross protocol and come up shelbourne with the farm road ride?

Re: Nov 24th - Along The Tracks

Finlayson Arm and a cup of that bitter, burnt, black stuff??? <insert GIF of yucky face here>

Can you confirm starting time and various meeting options? I'm still fence sitting.

Re: Nov 24th - Along The Tracks

I thought the Finlayson Arm climb was being replaced by something less horrendous and not on pavement?

Re: Friday Cross

Actually, don't expect us in the morning. Given our timing to get home to get kids up and the distance we'll likely be from home as the ride heads south, we'll ride up here in far away GH/CB.

Will miss all you guys! :(

Re: Nov 3rd - Terra Nova: TSCX Strikes Back!

Having had to last minute bail on the last time this route was attempted I am seriously considering......let's see - 5 hr epic adventure ride or 45 minutes of pain in the mud or sitting at my desk and reducing my accumulated mountain of report writing..... Bike is currently in the shop, recovering f...

Re: Friday Cross

I'm in too. Love option B since it greatly increases my chances of making coffee but am happy with either. Coffee time isn't a guarantee for me either way depending on morning schedules so I'm happy to go with the majority and turn off when I need to. I hope my bike still works after Sunday's mudapa...

Re: Discussion on group splitting

I agree JT, the Thursday ride was mint. It was flowy,, steady with re-groups a real feel of cohesiveness in the group. If we can achieve this for most weekday rides, I’m happy. I guess the question is can we, with the big groups that have been coming out. Or how can we...
