Re: Sunday, Jan 5 - Skirt Mountain

Absolutely JT. That can be your contribution to ride planning. Just not at the expense of breakfast. My research tells me that the cave is near the summit near a fir tree with two branches at the top that look like "horns" (seriously). I wonder if the tree in question is the one that is in the cent...

Re: Sunday, Jan 5 - Skirt Mountain

I'm likely in, Ron.

Would it be possible to find the middens and cave? Not to blow them up, but to stand respectively in front of them and wish Len Barrie, and other scoundrels like him, ill health.

Re: Sunday epic?

p.s. Who the heck changed the title of our cyclocross subforum without consultation? I'm not happy about this, I suggested the change to Roland. But judging from how enthusiastic he was to engage with the grotty sub-basement of the TS Forum, it may be hard to get his attention again before t...

Re: Sunday epic?

Ditto what Rolf just said. Choices are good. As for Ron's skirt, I think we should all make it a priority to go up there. Sounds gnarly but fun. p.s. At this mornings coffee I was so touched by Alan's generosity towards Wayne that I went ahead and made a mullet for him too.

Re: Tuesday or Wednesday or both?

That's just what I had in mind, starting at OBH at the usual start time.

BTW, my New Year's resolution for 2020 will be to stop posting rude gifs. Until then, I think I'll go out with a big bang, so to speak,

Alright, I'll stop my moping and come out for this.
That's great to hear, oh bearded one!

With all of your time off, we're hoping you haven't lost any of your off-road skills or much of your fitness.

Will check in with you if we decide to that to see if that fits better with your work deadline. Thanks, Louise. Depending on how things go today I'll either be all-in for Geoff and Mandy's ride or back in the office. There are about a 100 climate scientists around the world working feverishly throu...

Re: The Other Sunday Cross Ride

Hi Geoff,

I'm under a harsh and untimely deadline at work. If I'm not there at 7:30 am just know that I would of if I could of - I love that route.

p.s. Puppy damage? I get it, and have recently-chewed-upon cycling gloves to prove it.

? - Silly Solstice Ride (Cross Edition)

http://i.imgur.com/O9xqnHW.png OK cross-cretins, let's get serious about this. Last year was SOOOO much fun. Let's do it again, Baily's and all. The idea is that we take turns improvising laps in and around Beacon Hill Park, lifting our noses whenever we cross paths with the roadie conformists. htt...

Re: Friday, December 20 - Earlier, Zippier, ENSO-ier, Royal Oak Golf Course

I thought the splitting worked swimmingly, literally and figuratively. The reviews have it that Claire led the second group through Rolf's predetermined route like a champ, and it was fun crossing paths with them here and there.  The feedback on Rolf's leadership was little more mixed, especially as...

Re: Friday, December 20 - Earlier, Zippier, ENSO-ier, Royal Oak Golf Course

After sitting with my meditation log for the better part of the afternoon I have come to recognize that I don't even know what ENSO means. Nor do I have a clear explanation for lashing out at Rolf, a BFF of mine. Rolf, I will be delighted to join either your group or Claire's on this Fridays rompee*...
