Re: Friday, December 20 - Earlier, Zippier, Royal Oak Golf Course

Looks like we might end up oversubscribed; but there's plenty of time for someone else to learn the route in advance. WTF. This is a silly. It penalizes those who don't have their schedules in order 6 weeks before the ride. Assuming I get my tire problem sorted, I will be leaving ALONE at 5:55 am f...

Re: Quadra May Long Weekend - CycloQuest

Thanks for thinking of us, Hugh, but some evil jerk nabbed it.

If any of you lovelies have a spare room I would be thrilled to occupy it. Other than sleep walking, throat clearing, and knuckle cracking, I have very few annoying tics - and of course, I always flush.

Tuesday, December 17 - Dentalcross

I have a dental appointment at 9 am and I'd love to calm the nerves with a geoffrey39wonger inspired ride ending at Pure Vanilla.

Please join me at OBH at 6 am. Bring ativan.

2. They do not serve decaffeinated coffee.
3. When Rolf eats there frequently he begins to look and act like this ...

Re: Group splitting?

But please, if we do start splitting I hope we can keep that warm and fuzzy attitude that TSCX has embodied as long as I've known it and that there won't be an "elite" group. I even worry that A and B might set a precedent that doesn't become us. A fast ride is great so long as everyone still looks...

Group splitting?

My observation is that rides with more than 7-8 riders can become a gong show, even dangerous as we saw this morning. This is especially true given a big spread across fitness and skill levels. I propose that we start getting serious about splitting into two groups. To my mind, the ideal situation w...

Re: Victoria ranked most bike-friendly city in Canada

Yikes!

Question: where physically-separated bike lanes are unavailable, why not use flashing LED lane markers? Drifting cars on the one side and open doors on the other are two of my greatest fears (followed by black ice, slippery roots, and Alan in drag).

Three truths: 1. Rolf's an honest man. 2. Roland's evil. 3. It's Jill's. It spilt out of her jersey while she was passing TS cheques to Martin. I am sure though that Jill won't hold it against you if you passed it forward to the Youth Group. We have already paid our December rent, and with our prese...

Claire's ride looks like good fun and Ron's patchouli-dipped beard is to die for. However, limited hours in the day combined with Rolf's bullying dictate that I join his crew,

Definitely cooking up a ride for Sunday! Alan’s favourites—ie. no wet roots. 8) I'm up for celebrating Alan's birthday by meandering through some of his favorite roots. Lets not drink though, remember the antics old-man Alan got up to last time we did. http://media0.giphy.com/media/dUMo7xp22xadq/gi...
