Re: Friday, October 12 - Taper ride?

I’m down if it’s mellow and Jonny tire or rolling Rolf are there to be navigators since I get hopelessly lost on those routes.

I’m as sick as an over-loved kitten just pulled out of a pillowcase and only fed candy. BUT I may try to draft behind you kindly gentemen tomorrow and see how I do.

(Its remarkable what happens when you get hypothermia from a ride where you over-exert yourself. This cold has sunk in deep!)

Re: Fall kit order

Sure would be nice to get this order placed so I’m not freezing cold while riding. Is there an anticipated order date? And what’s the typical turnaround time? I’m holding off buying a jacket for as long as I can. Thanks to everyone putting this together and if there’s any way I can help I’ll gladly ...

I’m in. Sounds awesome.

John, I tried to watch the video but as soon as it came on I was compelled to jump up and wave my hands in the air like I just didn’t care and close my eyes while gyrating to the funky song.

Tart tart cherry juice for recovery and anti-inflammatory

In an attempt to find a substitute for ibuprofen due to deleterious effects while riding, I came across this. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2874510/ There's other articles demonstrating effectiveness for recovery also. I thought I'd share. Now to see if there's any legitimacy to tumer...

Re: Any plans/interest in an autumn great trail gravel adventure?

Steven,

Can you elaborate on what 'adventure' means? Are you talking an all-day randonneur or a night or two of bike-packing?

I'd be down for an randonnneur with the same caveats as above.

right now its at 10+ VERY HIGH HEALTH RISK

As mentioned earlier, the Apple Triathlon was cancelled in Kelowna due to air quality. I'll be doing yoga until it goes below 7.

Anyone doing the Kettle Mettle and want to carpool?

http://www.kettlemettle.ca/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzIOpiP3-3AIVimB-Ch0XmgE4EAAYASAAEgKRmfD_BwE Hey all. I’m thinking of heading over for this gravel ride. Is anyone else planning on going?
