Youth - Waivers are available from the VCL site. They can be printed and signed at home... parents/guardians do not have to sign on site.
I suffered a slight ankle sprain today and probably won't race tomorrow (also had a cold this week... lots of excuses , but I plan to race for much of the season and would be happy to mentor newbies... the toughest part is often deciding to participate. Also, nothing wrong with racing yourself into fitness. In fact, those who race will likely get faster, faster than you, so waiting to be fitter before you start could easily backfire.
