Topaz Fun and Frolicks

Post by Paul Chris » Mon Sep 10, 2018 6:08 am

By my count 42 tripleshot at Topaz plus our dual member people...WOW.

Well now that Im 65...moved up to Supermasters...on the new Ridley...matches our new kit... hydralic disk...etc. She is called ORANGE CRUSH....supposed to CRUSH the competition.
Not quite yesterday..I hear that training more works.

Congrats to all...the ones off the podium and on it.
Race reports???

On to Cumberland September 16

p.s. Strangely no sign of the 3 stooges, the TRIPLESHOT OUTLAWS 1% BIKERS......who think they are tuff bikers but were probably napping about 1pm when their race was on !!

Congrats to Michelle and Louise for 2nd and 4th places in the Masters women's racing, and Ritchie and Wayne for 2nd and 3rd the same in Super Masters.
Also, congrats to those who took part in their first ever cyclocross race.

Congrats to everyone who showed up and raced—whether you came first, last, or somewhere in between. COTR is such a great community and the Island is lucky to have it.

As for the stooges, we went for a super early rip in the forest which ended in a minor fiasco featuring bananas, all our spare tubes, and a paved retreat.

On the flip-side, I’ve learned quite a few life skills from following those 3.

Oh yeah, back to topic...

It was also great to see some parent/kid combo’s out there: Brian E & son, Blair R & son, any others?

I find the 3 tripleshot stooges look and act very similar to the famous Three Stooges.

Dear Paul Chris (aka Carpi Lush),

You characterize us in this way, but the rest of the Club see us more along these lines:

Alan

Yes, you are wrong. Please go back to the x-cross giphy-free-for-all playground that we created for you last year.

No contest there.

We all know, because he keeps on telling us, that Alan is the Sexiest Man Alive. And Rolf, those Far Away Eyes and Time Waits for No One riding style tell us he's the shirtless rocker.

And to John D., a rebel himself and a little cranky too, I offer this.
