Was just about to post and see if anyone was venturing out. I am almost considering the road bike after my recent experiences on the CX bike in ice and slush. Seems most trails that are not under the tree canopy are still an icy/sloppy/slushy mess. I like working on my bike handling/skid control skills but I'm a bit tired of it. Hubby's report from today is to avoid some of our usual spots like Pipeline, Quicks bottom.
I have seen people venturing out to Royal Roads on strava. Perhaps its worth a try?
I have a new drlr so I can make it.
Whada y'all think?

I'm in! Royal Roads works for me. Shall we push off from Fairbucks at 7:30?

Enjoy yourselves, and don't bother abusing me 'cause,

Would I be able to meet you at the Switch Bridge on the Goose? 8ish? I have to zip out and grab my CX bike from the lockup at work.

I just got some intel that RR is in pretty good shape. I'm still not completely convinced given my ride yesterday and Greg's today.....
I'd probably be up for a switch meet up depending on the final plan.

One good thing when the trails are like this: falls are slow, graceful, and painless.

That looks just like Alan on wet roots, Greg.
Me, I am filled with l’ennui and will only be out tomorrow for the company. What is this thing of hard, uncaring metal called bicycle? Is Spring’s thaw finally upon us?
Buckies at 7:30, Switch by 8:00 sound like good places to start...

Glad to see that a ride is coming together.
And we'll miss you so much John, but we'll try to keep a stiff upper lip about it...

L’ennui suffocates.
“Mixed rain and snow” continues.
A warm cat in my bed beckons.
Over to you, Capt. Kirk.
