Wednesday: Hills

6:00 am @ the base of Cadboro Bay Hill (at the corner of Sinclair in Cadboro Bay Village).

Hill repeats are a great way to build your riding fitness relatively quickly.

There is not generally a group rollout for this ride.  People just do the hills at their own pace, starting when they get there. Coffee is less common after this ride, but is at Pure Vanilla on Cadboro Bay Road, when it happens.

Hills are ridden at your own pace.  The standard workout is 4 repeats of Cadboro Bay Hill, 3 repeats of Sinclair Hill, and 2 repeats of Mt Tolmie, riding down the backside of Tolmie between repeats. Riders often regroup at the top of Sinclair before riding over to Tolmie.

Safety Tips:

*Watch for ice and rough surfaces in winter, especially on the back side of Tolmie.
